My thoughts exactly! Love this show and will continue to watch it but the animation has really gone down the drain.
They use lots of static shots just moving camera up/down, practically all close-ups so always a talking head, generic background with barely anything in it, etc. This is still one of the most popular anime franchise in Japan so why severely cut corners?

It's even more evident when you're watching the old episodes.

Now thinking about it, I've watched what? Nearly 1000 cases of Conan? Well, it's far less because of Black Org episodes, double or triple episodes, and repeat episodes.

If I include movies, it'll probably only be around 600 cases rather than 1000. (My rough estimate, it might be even lower or slightly higher)

Whatever the case (no pun intended), I'm curious how many I can remember if someone gave me the details of it and characters. Whenever I watch old episodes I always say to myself "I remember that part"

Yoko came way too prepared for this case even with pictures of everyone involved. It feels premeditated to have that photo like she knew this was gonna happen, too convenient. Being family is one thing but her not being in the picture as a famous actress is VERY odd. I would have to assume from what they said the beginning the TP was used as a quick cast disguise or something and the brother was faking an injury. The reason the trapdoor doesn't work could just have been broken after it was used too but nobody said why it's broken and if it was, how did the guy die up there with no entrance?
